A Spanish Adventure
We first met Pablo and Fredi for the first time in the Summer of 2022 during a holiday they were taking to visit friends in Ireland. Whilst here, they stayed in one of our Huts (www.araglin-glamping.com) and asked if we could visit them there to discuss a possible Hut build. Pablo had always wanted a Shepherd's Hut for their holiday home in Spain but as they couldn't find a manufacturer there, he thought it would be a 'want' unfulfilled. He asked would it be possible to deliver a hut to Spain and, after only a few minutes pondering, we said "of course, no problem!"; we like a challenge and who could resist a few days in the sun and the opportunity to sample some fine wine?
How quickly time passes and before we knew it, the hut was deigned and built and the trailer loaded - ready to go! After several hours driving through the night to Rosslare and a very long ferry journey into Bilbao, it was onto the 'wrong' side of the road and a three hour drive through the beautiful mountains of northern Spain.
Pablo had sourced a local builder to carry out the groundworks; a fantastic job and as you can see from the video, a simple installation.
Pablo and Fredi showed great confidence and trust in Irish Shepherd's Huts and we hope they continue to enjoy their Hut for many years to come.
Now onto the the next challenge - helicoptering a Hut onto the side of a mountain maybe...?
