The Liffey - Glamping Luxury All Year Round
The Liffey Shepherd's Hut has been developed as a luxury, home from home living space and is a great alternative to rooms within a house for Bed & Breakfasts' or as additional accommodation for farms and small holdings wanting to offer the glamping experience to holidaymakers (the Huts for Business page shows potential revenue for this type of accommodation). Cosy, yet practical with full insulation and engineered oak flooring, the Liffey Shepherd's Hut is designed to include a double bed, en-suite bathroom and kitchen facilities, a wood burning stove can also be fitted to give your guests that glamping feeling! Canvas awnings or sunshades can be supplied, a decking to maximise the outdoor area can also be designed to fit your hut although this would need to be supplied by other tradespeople due to location logistics. We have found the Liffey works best at a minimum of 16 or 18 feet by 8 feet and includes:
Our huts are provided with integrated water, electric and waste connections to enable instant hook up to your facilities. Electric and plumbing connections are installed and certified by qualified tradespeople; all relevant certificates are provided to you on delivery. Off grid options are available however, we would need to discuss what is currently available in the market.
Additional Options
All our huts are bespoke built enabling us to alter the layout and add any other features to suit which can include (but aren't limited to):
- Metal chassis with cast iron wheels
- Oak floor
- 2 wall lights, 2 double electric sockets (1 USB charger socket) and 1 external wall light
- 4 feet 6 inch double bed and mattress with under bed storage area
- Kitchen with sink, electric 2 ring hob and under counter fridge
- 1Kw convector wall heater (programmable)
- En-suite bathroom with toilet, hand basin and shower, waterproof vinyl flooring. Electric heated towel rail, over mirror light and toilet roll holder
- Full insulation in the ceiling, walls and floor
- Fully painted internal tongue & groove cladding (in your choice of colour)
- Stable door, 1 meter x 1.2 meter double glazed window and one 40cm x 50cm bathroom window with frosted glass
- Feather edge cladding or corrugated iron (wriggly tin) externally (painted in your choice of colour). Red Cedar cladding is also available.
